Developing Secondary Digital Leaders (SDLs)
Three digital leaders from Lady Lumley’s School and their teacher will describe how 25+ SDLs are working to improve the landscape of learning with ICT through
– teaching their year groups
– working with teachers
– using software, the school VLE and Edmodo
– telling the story
– accrediting the skills they are learning with Digital Badges and DigitalMe
Lady Lumley School is an LA comprehensive school in North Yorkshire with no extra money or 1:1 devices, but with great students and staff doing the best they can in difficult circumstances.
Chris Sharples is Head of ICT and also works for NYCC to develop SDLs in other schools. More information at www.gr8ict.com.
